Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

We are aware that our members should be kept up to date.  Most responsible professional bodies have introduced prgrammes to this effect.

We are offering our members in good standing an update service based on the latest books advised to us by www.amazon.co.uk  We will pass on the updates to our registered CPE members.

We are offering four updates a year to the CPE members.  On receipt of each book the member will read the book and then submit a 5,000 to 6,000 word synopsis for our approval.  We will comment on the synopsis and request corrections to technical content and style as appropriate.

The annual cost is GBP 200 or members can pay GBP 50 for each one.  This will include the cost of the book, the airmail delivery of the book and the corrections service.

After  receipt of four synopses IPFM will issue a Certificate of Competence to the member.
